When I was younger I remember the excitement of saving £100 in my bank account. Mainly because it meant that I had a full collection of ceramic pigs given to me by my bank for free!
From then until University I discovered the pleasure in saving and spending cheaply. At University it some how all disappeared on enjoying student life. I soon realised I needed to find the balance between saving and splurging.
It’s true there are certain items or experiences that you have to pay good money to get great quality, but there are ways in which we don’t have to deprive ourselves of these. Yes, it takes a little time to research the true value of something and what else the market has to offer and that is where I come in.
